Beyond Luxury.
Born in Africa.
CHARGEO — Exceeding Expectations Since 2021
Africa does not need to import luxury. It was never an import.
CHARGEO was founded in 2021 with one clear belief: the finest leather in the world comes from South African tanneries. The richest cultural stories are right here. All that was needed was someone to do the work at the standard those materials deserve.
The name CHARGEO means exceeding expectations. Not as a marketing phrase — as an operating standard. Every piece that leaves our workshop is held to it, without negotiation.
We are a luxury fashion house, born in South Africa. Leather bags, belts, and sneakers are where we begin. What we are really making is a record of South African distinction that can travel the world.
Every piece carries a name. Every name carries a place.
Our bags are named after South African cities, landscapes, and cultural references — Sandton, Cape Town, Zulu Treasure, Constantia, the Kalahari. These are not marketing names. They carry the character of a place into the leather itself.
Each name is chosen because of what it represents: the energy of a city, the texture of a terrain, the weight of a cultural tradition. When you carry a CHARGEO piece, that story comes with it.
We use leathers that less than 1% of the world works with.
Each piece meets an exacting standard. The quality you feel today holds ten years from now.
Mass production is not compatible with the standard we hold ourselves to. Every CHARGEO piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand. The process takes longer. The result is not a product — it is a piece.
We are not interested in making something that looks good for a season. We make things that last, that improve with use, and that carry a story worth passing on.
