CHARGEO

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CHARGEO website and your purchase of any products from us. By placing an order or otherwise using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or place an order with us.

CHARGEO is a South African company, based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, registration number 2021/491671/07.

2. The Nature of Authenticity

We craft our collections using only the finest genuine hides, including Bovine, Ostrich, and Crocodile. As these are natural materials, each skin bears its own distinct character — unique grain patterns, textures, and tonal nuances. Consequently, no two pieces are exactly alike. These subtle variations are not imperfections, but rather the signature of the wild, ensuring that the CHARGEO item you receive is truly one-of-a-kind and unique to you.

3. The Art of Patience — Orders and Production

True luxury cannot be rushed. To maintain our uncompromising standards of quality and attention to detail, every CHARGEO piece is made to order. Please note that this made-to-order process requires patience; depending on our current production schedule and the complexity of your commission, the crafting period may take up to 3 months. We dedicate this time to ensuring your item is built to be a lifelong companion. We believe that timeless style is worth the wait.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this production timeline. We will keep you informed of your order’s progress and will notify you of any expected delay beyond the estimated timeframe.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on this website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of applicable South African taxes, unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Full payment is required at the time of placing your order unless another arrangement has been agreed with you in writing. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Your order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timeframes quoted at checkout are in addition to, and separate from, the production period described in section 3. We will make every reasonable effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe, but delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us immediately if anything is missing, damaged, or incorrect.

6. Our Promise — Returns and Refunds

We stand firmly behind every piece. Should your order not meet your expectations, we offer a seamless and hassle-free return and refund policy. You are also welcome to exchange your purchase for a different item at no additional cost. For full details, including timeframes and conditions, please review our Refund and Return Policy.

7. Product Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products, including colours and materials, as accurately as possible. Because our leathers are natural materials and screen displays vary, slight differences between the images shown and the product received should be expected and do not constitute a defect.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including the CHARGEO name, logo, product designs, photography, and text, is the property of CHARGEO or its licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any of this content without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CHARGEO’s total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your order or use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The version published on this page at the time of your order will apply to that order.

12. Contact Us

If you have any questions regarding your order, these Terms, or our process, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to assist you.
